I spent the night in Brunswick, Maine. I’m just a mile from Bowdoin College.
It’s a cold and rainy morning. I took a drive to Orr’s Island and Harpswell this morning.
I’m just about to head up to Colby.

Tom Kopp was a colleague, mentor and friend. We worked together at Colby College.
Tom died in a boating accident in Maine this past weekend. I am traveling to Maine tomorrow morning for a memorial service at the College.
